Well today was another fun day! Left Danand Angela,s this morning at about 7. Drove south on Rt. 1, right along the ocean, steep mountains on my left and steep drops to the water on the right. just breathtaking, even in the rain. I had togo to the Dodge dealer, as they never put the owners manual, the fllor mats ot the navigation DVD into the truck before it left. Of course they couldnt locate any of it, so had to order it. They are going to send it to Mac's house so I should be able to pick it up there later this week. Any one here know how to set the time on the radio on an 09 Ram 2500 with the navigation system?
I got to meet up with Kurt Hirte,
and had a great time with him,
enjoyed seeing pictures of his current
and past trucks. Thanks again Kurt for the tasty goodie bag!
I then went out to San Bernadino and met Ed Bateman. At that point it wasnt raining cats and dogs, it was more like Panthers and goats. But, old trucks must be examined and admired, regardless of the weather, so we both got totally soaked admiring his amazing collection of trucks. I picked up a nice pair of spare tires for the M101 trailer that I committed to buy in San Diego. After Ed and I couldnt get any wetter we said our goodbyes, and I headed South to San Diego to Chris Case's house. It is always fun to meet forum folks and finally put faces to names! Chris and I left to go pick up the trailer, but the owner wasnt there, and said he wouldnt be there for another hour. Looked the trailer over, and was very satisfied, We will go back in the morning, at about 7:00 to complete the deal. Later Chris showed me his stainless steel gas tanks. If you need a new Power Wagon fuel tank, give Chris a call, they look really nice! Well, that is about enough fun for one day,
signing off,
Tim
