Wow, just wow. I have read a lot of your posts over the last several years....I believe I read forum 1 LIVE when I was in school, a long long time ago. I rarely post but read the forum on occasion as my interests have waned. Mr. Stone, I have spoken to you on the phone, years ago. That being said, in with respect to your opinions and manuals, you have absolutley no idea what you are †alking about when talking about with real world tire experience, say after 1995. Big deal, you can quote a book....good for you. You would still be riding around on wooden wheels with your philosophy and likely doubting the surface of the earth is round if you were older. Yes, I know your father ran a line company and paved the way for the transformation of this country. He adapted....you do not. NDT tires may have been the best traction tire, but no longer.... nor are the newer michelins. Interco tires are mostly American made and well engineered. Unlike you, they adapted and EVOLVED to the market . I don't think they are the best tires out there but i can till you they still hold air and don't disintegrate after 5 years like Michelin XL's. A "Swamper" out performs a Michelin XL/XZL/XML in every way EXCEPT how it looks on a PW-as the Michelins just look right. Oh, the irony (yes, I know looks are subjective), but Michelins do just look right on a PW. I have run Michelin XLs, XMLs, XZLs, Swampers, IROKS, Boggers etc.......the Interco tires out perfors in every way in traction and durability in my experience. How many of these tires have you run Mr. Stone? I apologize if I have offended anybody, Joe, Mr. Stone and the rest of the forum, but enough is enough of the inside the box/manual thinking.
