I would have to agree with the rest of you... You are taking a big risk locking into a contract with the seller when you have not seen the vehicle first hand. If he is a stand up guy, and serious about selling the truck, he shouldn't have a problem showing it.
You at least need to have an in depth phone conversation before commiting a large amount of cash.
Ebay is a great site to sell and buy all kinds of things, but there are alot of scams out there. So far I have had good luck, although I almost screwed myself out of $30,000.00 trying to buy what was a scam picture of a '69 Roadrunner I used to own a few years ago.
The bottom line is you have to trust the other guy, and your gut. If not, walk away.
