yesterday was kinds of cold and windy to be out so i was touching up a few projects > one was the venturi in my water pump ,not a big job > i went out to the power wagon get my small tool box but the lid had opened and it was full off ice > so i opened the oven and pulled out a rack > set the plastic tool box to thaw > the oven was set at 200 > i got wondering around for a bit then got the tools out of the box cleaned the pump of a lime deposit > put all the tools back in the box and shut off the oven > on my next project i need a piece of black wire > the oven door was blocking my way out to the porch so i shoved the tool box and rack back in the oven and closed the oven door > latr on in the day I was prepering a roast of beef and was going to pick up Ms Copey at the home she resides at and have sunday dinner with family on the farm > while i am prepping the roast beef my daughter asks if i want to pre heat the oven at 400 > i say go for it well in about ten minutes smoke is pouring out the top of the stove > i figue its just some grease from my other cooking attempts > Then the smell of plastic !! BINGO its the tool box smoking ! and being the double moron of the week i open the oven and grab the melting tool box and hot tools with my hands > now here i am in kitchen full of smoke, a melted tool box and molten plastic on my hands running around like a scalded dog > my mother always said there would be days like this ~ Copey
