My mainstay shotgun is a Remington Wingmaster 870 in 12 gauge with the nice (early) wood stock. I have a short poly-choke barrel, a long extra-full turkey barrel, and a rifled slug barrel for deer. I have used this shotgon for nearly 30 years with almost no problem. At one point, cartridges were hanging up in the action. A gunsmith helped me fix the slide mechanism and it has been faithful since then.

I also have an 870 in 20 gauge, and a Remington 30.06 pump action rifle. All great guns.

The price you stated is reasonable based on condition.

One of my favorite doubles is the Remington 1894 and the 1900. I have been shopping for one.
