There's been a big block PW at Fairfield. I don't remember how long ago. Tight fit, and he had some foil type insulation in the cab to reflect the heat. I'd guess the headers would be the hardest piece of that puzzle.
I bought a V6 Dakota new in 92 and thought back then that it might be a good fit for a PW. I never used first gear (3.83) unless I was pulling something or driving in the snow. Second (2.33) was just right, so there is some grunt, but the Dakota is not near as heavy as a PW, so I'm not sure if it has enough grunt in the right places. Isn't the flathead good for 200 ft lbs early in the rpm band?
