Most of our machines at work are getting converted to this type of fitting system. They are using it on air lines that have over 150 PSI on them and I've yet to see one fail in 5 years since they started doing it.

No hose clamps as Russ Roth said. The hose they are using IS designed for the fitting, Whether it's a marketing thing I can't tell you.

I WOULD definetly make sure the hose is designed for fuel though.

Even though I never seen one fail I wouldn't run it on a fuel line. To me the cost of a braided line vs a non protected rubber hose seems small when the total value of the vehicle is considered. ESPECIALLY is your vehicle will be flexing and twisting alot. Kevin
