Don't use hose clamps on those. It will cause the barb to cut the hose and then you will have a leak. It's the way the barb is made that holds the hose in place. I've been around Vulcan Performance the last several years doing some work for him off and on and Eric sells a lot of those and about the only trouble is with someone using clamps on them. They will work fine and hold a lot of pressure, Once on, it is nearly impossible to get the hose off. I think standard fuel hose works fine with them but I would check for sure. It helps to warm the hose and/or use some oil on the end, otherwise they can be a real bear to get the hose and barb assembled correctly. Really tough if it's cold weather. DAMHIK! Hair dryer or heat gun works good and then the hose will usually slide right on.
