Vaughn, you have made up my mind for me! for a while now I've been on the fence on whether or not to install a pertronix on my truck. I think now the only thing I'll do is upgrade to the splashproof.(already got one), and do as you suggested and carry parts. the idea of the company that makes your parts going out of business and leaving you hung out to dry isn't very appealing. I can always yank the dist. on the trail and rework it on the bumper, I can't rewind a pick-up coil sitting on my bumper on the trail!!!! thanks, Dave.
