there is an optional ring that you can purchase or at least you were able to a few years back that was stronger then the stock ring for the external hub like that.

If you want a cheap "fusible link" put your drive flanges on, with non-graded bolts (finger tight). You have the knowledge to figure out the strength of each bolt and calculate how many you want in there to break/shear before anything else.

It's quick and easy and pretty darn cheap. Finger tight, so that when they do break all you have to do is grab a punch and back them out.

And for those that are just shocked at what I said... This is a "trail only" truck now as Will stated and we all understand the risks of what we chose to do. If you aren't comfortable doing it, then don't do it. But there are many who do this.
