Go with the 80 gallon tank and auto water blow off.
You compressor will cycle less. With a large reserve of air, some jobs might not even require running the compressor. Also if your shooting paint and the power fails, the larger tank 'may' make the difference.

My compressor has a 120 gallon tank and auto water blow off. I have my water blow off set to blow off every 10 minutes for 3 seconds. It works great.

I bought my compressor from Eaton Compressor, it will blow ballast on a sub LOL. The 7.5 hp motor weighs 187 pounds by its self. The entire compressor is almost 1000 Pounds. I have never had a problem, it just makes air and lots of it.
