Funny you should put up that article my son and i were driving to town last night and the topic was about these conflicts around the world > the problem that in north america we have gone soft > when the enemy cant sit all day in 120 degree heat and eat dried up cheese and goat parts and ambush the he:: out of you > something is wrong here > time was every kid on the farm had a 22 rifle learned skills of hunting and shooting wether it be rats, ground hogs squirrels or pigeons > you learned patience the ability to stalk, concealemnt and the rush of victory ( gotem ) yes ! > today you dont tell any one you hunt its not big with the "green" people same kind that buys factory meat > wild animals just dont walk up to you and ask to be killed >their sense of smell, hearing ,eye sight ,and instincts are to avoid humans getting wild game is not a easy task > odds are always in favour of the animal ,I hunt with a single shot gun ,one shot its going to be thee shot or no shot at all a quick and humane kill > as for the farm animals the same killing at home which we have done for generations has been stopped illeagal now it all has to go to a government inspected plant $$$$$ > my kids have seen me slaughter steers pigs and chickens and turkeys its nothin to them a way of life > in fact the meat hooks are still in the kitchen ceiling where i hung them and butchered and a large table i built to lay the cuts and wrap is still there > we have to shake our heads at people who think we can no longer eat flesh of animals and pray for the animal safty > paul macarnty of the beatles wants MEATLESS mondays as a way of stopping/reducing green house gases > but he still, private jets about in a plane by himself a world of contadiction > to be strong to be fit to havest game and defeat your enemys you need have it in you and if you dont you will be bowing before some other leader of some forgein land > time to roll back the clock on this feeling all that is green is good > go out and "getsome" get in touch with your instincts we are hunters we are gathers we are defenders ~ Copey
