You're truck's frame is a cold stamped Chromoly steel frame for strength. The flame method they applied to probably mild steel, can be applied, however you'll end up with a weak frame. My advice is to find another frame or have it straightened by a body shop. Most body shops don't have the equipment anymore that can do it.
