Global warming. Interesting disclosures that the foremost climate (global warming) researcher has stepped down from his position after all the emails that were released. This leaves a big part of their "evidence and methodologies" in serious doubt. But the politicians will forge ahead ignoring the "science" and do what they want. Didn't they accuse Bush of that?
What needs to be done is a complete and open peer review to help determine what is valid and what is not. Scientist on both sides need to be fully involved. We are talking about billions of dollars being spent when maybe is is not needed.
I agree we need to clean up our mess and get better at making less of a mess but having no impact on the earth is not even close to possible.
