Might have a dead cell too. I had a battery that would just barely start on a good day make it cold or freq stops and I was screwed. Thought the same thing as you that I wasnt running it enough. An initial battery test showed the battery was drained and needed charging. After an hour wait at Walmart as they charged it (it took a charge) and then reran the test confirmed the battery was bad.
