I converted a couple WCs to the 2 speed using 6x6 brackets and it wasn't real noisy with the centered rear but I also have my drivelines all balanced as I like to run freeway speeds. (50 to 57mph with 11.00 x 16s) And, open cabs are quieter than closed for sure.
