Keith, I recommend a dual processor Mac (with Intel chips) with about 2G of ram with about 100-150 Gig HD. You can run Mac OS X, Sys 9, and Windows all at the same time. I do a lot with half of that. You can watch streaming video of any TV show and free movies on HULU, Network sites and Crackle (etc.) whenever you want. Listen to hundreds of Web radio stations free with iTunes and store your entire music library and play it back any way you want. Watch DVDs and burn too. I usually have 5 or 6 big programs and 2 systems going at the same time while listening to music. I have a 21" 1200X1600 monitor hooked up. We also have a PC we found in a dumpster hooked up to a 37" flat screen to watch streaming videos and play MIST. Macs are expensive, but worth it. If you are just surfing the net for parts, you are really missing out. If so go with half of all that. Regards, G
Computers are like Hot Rods / Power Wagons... you can always soup them up.
