Braden MU2 - Bent bolt faces

In my restoration project I have come to the winch, and no suprise, the mounting faces have been bent 5-10 degrees off of vertical and horizontal on the front faces of the worm gear housing and the bearing leg. Can I bring the casting gently up to temp and bend back? Your comments and similar expirence are appreciated. This truck had an A frame mounted on the front for oil-field maintenance in Bakersfield CA. Originally owned by Texaco Oil. The frame was bent to hell when I got it.
