Please forgive the off topic here, but it seems like lots of the forum readers either own welders or someday will own one. About 4 years ago I bought a Lincoln Power Mig 215. I have enjoyed learning how to weld and build a lot of things that I would previously had to take to a welding shop. I'm considering a spool gun so I can weld aluminum.
I realize that some here are professional and very experienced welders, and my question might be sort of like asking a brain surgeon how to remove a hang nail, but I would appreciate some input from anyone who has added one to their welder. Thanks.
