Yea, but then it might as well be a chevy ford or even int. as the running gear was all the same. I figure if I have to abort the truck a little for a 6 and can do a decent job without ruining the truck I would like to give this a shot some day. Ideally I would like to have one original(251), and one abortion(6bt), and would really love to have a 6x, kinda dreaming here but if I never have one, IŽll never have one come true. How bout that 6x6 over at vpw, he must of had to modify the fire wall and everything behind. Love to see what he did there. I would trade some land here for that truck. I heard somewhere that the 6spd. transmission he used is not a great one but that may or may not be true. Kaeig thanks again for your input.
