the hood dimensions probably would not work, but the medium duty trucks did have the same style hood. the sides and length are different though. After seeing all the conversions peopel have done on here and owning one V8 conversion myself I would probably go 4 cyl cummins or Mopar V8. If I want a 6 bt I will convert a 61-68 swepty or a PG. The flatheads have always performed very well for me though.
