Looks like the high mount water pump is fitted to the engine in the picture. If so the top edge of the fan will be close (or slightly higher) than the bottom edge of the top tank. Fitting the long block lifts the front of the engine unless you do some work to get it back to the right height. The low type PW pump will drop the whole pump assembly so the fan is centered on the radiator but it will cost you another 2".
