Over on the Power Wagon Advertiser Forums Gordon had a policy of no discussions on politics or religion? However, people insisted upon stepping over the line and broaching the subjects anyway. So, Gordon created a special sub-forum where those who wished could discuss these subjects openly without intruding upon the privacy of those who wished to remain on subject of the Forums and simply talk Power-Wagon.
Well it soon got ugly, as it always does when people are foolish enough to talk about certain subjects in the wrong place or with the wrong people. Friendships were broken, people left to never come back, others still hold grudges, things were said that should have been kept to oneself, the subforum was locked out forever, and now some of us can never view others in quite the same way when meeting together in person at a Rally. I was afraid that the whole Power Wagon Advertiser Forum would be permanently shut down.
The same thing could happen here. There are things that don't need to be discussed in certain places, like - at the supper table, in the bedroom, and on Power Wagon Forums. No one is asking that anyone quite believing in what they choose to believe in. Just don't be foolish people. Don't preach to others.
Now, I will step down off of my pulpit.
