I have slid some but not with the PW. I was hauling my little 16' Airstream trailer up a gravel road hill with my wife's Volvo V70 (2WD). When a deer appeared I had to slow down, and when I tried to go the front drive wheels spun (at least no gravel on polished trailer). Had to back up, sliding down when brakes applied. Very scary. Now I am very careful about pulling the trailer up gravel roads. The car has lots of power, but not enough traction sometimes. Maybe an AWD model would do better, but the mileage would be lower for the 97% of the driving time with no trailer.
