If I may offer one more suggestion; since you're going to make new ones for the headlights, go ahead and make the mounting tabs a solid bar rather than cutting them off. I believe that would offer a cleaner appearance. I'd like to help out a little further by offering to take those ones off your hands that are currently on the truck. You've got to watch out for all that clutter in the shop! :>)
