2 dually axle trailers and the deck over, pull a lot harder then a tri axle trailer. 8 tires on the ground is going to pull harder then 6.
Not only that but a deck over puts whatever your towing 4-6 inches higher for a higher center of gravity and more wind resistance, which means less MPG.
I have not had any problems wearing tires out any faster on a tri axle then on a 2 axle daully trailer. And I have found that a tri axle trailer tows a lot better and offers a smoother ride then a 2 dually trailer.
