Starting this summer, I would be driving along in my 03 Ram 2500 (Hemi) and a chime would ing, and the red "Brakes" and yellow "ABS" wights would light up. The truck would shudder a little as the lights came on. A littlw while later they would shut back off. There was no noticable difference in the brakes, but I assume the ABS module was off line. Initially it might have occurred once a week, or even longer.
Lately it has gotten much more frequent, and the symptoms have advanced a bit. Now I sometimes touch the brakes, lightly as for a normal stop, and the ABS unit will buzz, feel it in the pedal, then the chime dings and the lights come on. A couple of times the truck has quit when the lights come on, but has always started right back up.
Any help and insight would be appreciated!
