One chain in each corner. The front two pull from the frame of the vehicle being hauled toward the rear at not more than 45 degree's.
And two in the rear pull from the frame of the vehicle being hauled toward the front at not more than 45 degrees. Also use a seperate snap or ratchet binder for each chain.
That how we haul Hummers from the A.M. general.
