I'm sorry to hear that, please accept my condolences.

When they were covering the story yesterday, they mention numerous incidents like this in recent years with Military personnel. They also mentioned Ft. Hood has had 75 suicides.
- Anyone have any insight as to what is causing this?
- Is Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome the sole cause in this or are there other factors?
- Is the Iraq war different from Vietnam, Korea, or WWII?
- Is it a difference in generations where life has been made easier for kids growing up and the ability to cope with difficult situations made harder?
- Why is it that individual’s have to harm others to make a statement?

No easy answers. I don’t believe the assassin was headed to the front-lines for combat, but mental support for personnel. I also hope the investigation into this matter does not conclude terrorism as the motive, for there will be no safe place.
