A couple things I noticed today. On my early 46 #3 truck the budd cab number is 161. On my early 46 #27 truck the budd cab number is 162. I guess they did not install them in sequence.
On the #27 truck the rear fenders were installed with dodge brothers bolts, not carraige bolts as I thought all were. All the frame washers are the square type found on the M37's. They are not on my #3 and I didn't think they were used on PW's. The transfer case in the #27 appears to be a 6x6 case with a center output yoke. The truck also has a cast license plate/tail light bracket, its made by Kelso.
