so sorry to disagree again and i am not being a wise guy but trust me IN FOUR WHEEL DRIVE 70 PERCENT of the total vehicles driving force IS AT THE FRONT AXLE > heres why traction applied to the road/ground surface will be greatest were the majority of the vehicles weight > the heaviest part of the truck is the front end ,motor transmissions t case cab winch ect > just ask any one who had a front wheel drive car > i do and its is superior in snow and mud to a rear wheel drive . i still wonder if all trucks came in front whel drive instead of rear wheel drive i doubt there would be much need for a 4 wheel drive > the only reason a truck should be rear wheel drive is if it was loaded the the weight transfer would be on the rear > after years of two wheel drive trucks it has always been the heavy front end that has stopped me any body else in on that thought ~ Copey
