REading all these posts I reealize no one here think any of the changes going on are intelligent ones even if we think here on the forum the reasons behind it are different. bottom line is the Italians are separating the Ram brand so they can sell it. I read yesterday that by 2012 84 percent of dodge engines will be italian designs. In other words they strip the soul of the company. It started when the Germans (Daimler) entered the Global engine manufacutring agreement. I just dont belive that Americans think Italian and Qualtiy are synonymous terms. Italian products I know are much better than they used to be but there decades long reputation of being a joke precedes them. I have worked on old and modern Alfa Romeos. Still overcomplicated low quality cars.
