Hi Vaughn, my past years of selling bearings of all types gives me experience with this issue. Normally the powdered bronze and "oilite" bearings are too soft for the use you are asking about. Better off with a sleeve, cast or bored bushing from solid material with oil/grease hole or grooves in it.
The powdered or oilite will not last. My 2 cents, Steve K.
