first what engine to you have in your truck?
if it is the original 230 then you will have to find & buy a 230 starter & linkage
then have the starter rebuilt (with brushs for the 12 volt system ) by a shop that specializes in these repairs.
then buy a 1/2 moon wrench if you do not have one to get the starter bolts out & back in.
might just keep what you have
