I left one of my front door window guides on my bumper and then drove off . I drive the same route every morning but I have yet to see the thing . It was a perfect part too . Now I have to make one or go hunting for one .
And I lost the shifter for the NV4500 . I have a spare but the one I lost was shortened and ready to be test fit .
This stuff is just a bit disheartning .

Electrolitic rust removal . If I use a zinc block on the sacraficial side would a thin coat of zinc end up on the part being derusted ? I ask this because one of my parts sure looks like it has a fine coat of zinc on it . Unlike my other parts this one has not flash rusted while sitting in my garage.
Never live near the ocean . The difference of 500 ft and 2000 ft is quite surprising ... when it comes to how fast the part will rust 2 months at 500 ft and over 2 years at 2000 ft . do not ask how I know >
