Inverter TIGs?

I just made a sale, a real wind fall, and am looking into a tig machine.

Space is of the essence, no room for the big cheap old behemoths. How much do I need the full featured machine to do sheet metal, and SS gas tanks? I see some used inverter machines, so I figure too many owners had to trade up. Very few used Miller syncrowave 200 or 250s. Lincolns a little more expensive, harder to find used.

Any opinions?
