I pulled my tranny today on my 51 M-37 as it had been making sounds whenever I pressed the clutch pedal. I thought I had a bad throw-out bearing. I quickly discovered my pilot bearing was loose and not inside the crankshaft. How should I go about repairing this. Crankshaft "hole" does not seem damaged or out of round. Input shaft on tranny looks slightly burned about 1/2" up from the end. I think it will clean up with a little emory cloth. Would this be a mistake? What is proper way to seat Pilot Bearing in Crankshaft. What are the lubrication requirements for bearing, for input shaft? Thanks in advance for any help. Hoyle
