I think the 360 was first used in the 1972 Dodge pickup. It is common to find this engine tranplanted into an older Dodge truck or Power Wagon.

To clarify my W300 comment, the first model to carry the W300 designation was the 1957 Flat Fender Power Wagon as pictured at the top of this page.

In 1958, a new one ton 4x4 was introduced
based on the conventional/regular Dodge cab, so the old style PW received an M to distinguish it from the new truck W300M, and later WM300. You may find a picture of this style truck listed under PICTURES of this website. The truck pictured belongs to Don Evans, who has tromented me with pictures of his "original condition" Dodges.

I think Don has a time machine, and/or has experimented with Peyote, to obtain those awesome trucks he has found.
