It's a WC-8 1/2 ton radio command car. The large box in the middle of the passenger running board is the storage compartment for the 12 volt battery used only on the 1/2 ton WC radio command car. Regular WC 1/2 ton command cars were 6 volts. The front "parking" and rear taillights are the early "blue louvred" type used only on the T-207 series of WC 1/2 ton 4X4 Dodges, making it a WC-8. The serial number appears to be missing one digit and also seems too low numberically for the T-207 series of military Dodges.
