I looked at it, and the hole seemed ok, not filled with rust, I even cleaned it out with a wire wheel and drill. So I just took a little off the head of the bolt. Fits fine now.

Now the new problem is the U bolts. I did all four on the rear axle and none made it to 40 ft lbs. They stripped the threads.

Besides that, they were all too short. Meaning when the nuts went on, there was no bolt coming out the other side, there were still three or four threads of nut left.

So now I'm looking for 8 U bolts, I dont even wanna try the fronts.

Any ideas for that??
