Any idea how heavy the load was? I'm putting the wood & strips on my new dump bed right now, so I may deal with the same issue. I talked w/ the suspension shop that installed the suspension on my Cummins, and he said Deaver was the place to go for custom spring work. That's in Santa Ana, close by me, so I figured I'd cross that bridge when I came to it.
I'm curious on the measurements you're working with. How much travel you had before load, how much sag you had, how much travel you had left, and how much weight caused that sag. If you don't have a good suspension shop your way, I can stop in at Deaver & see what they have to say. Maybe we can double-team this. I wouldn't mind getting some answers early even if I wasn't planning on working the bed til next spring.
