The whole truck project is at -

Basically the steel frame is 2" angle iron sitting on 3" heavy "C" channel sections. Front cross brace under that is heavy wall 4"x2" tube. The other leveling supports are 2" heavy wall pipe welded to the underside of the channel. There is a 2"x1/4" flat on each side that bolts to the frame behind the axle. I used all original mounting holes in the frame and it's secured with 1/2" grade 8 bolts. The "hurdle" behind the cabin is also made out of the 2" pipe and the step section forms a triangulated stiffening brace that prevent the hurdle hitting the back of the cabin. Bed boards are 1.5" thick hardwood, boards behind cab are 7/8" hardwood T&G boards. Contact me via email if you want/need more info. The very back has a removable cross-piece to allow the boards to be cut exact and easy fit. Cheers.
