I find body work very difficult. Body work takes a very special dedication. Body work (finish work) and fabrication are two different disciplines, where few are tops at both. I really enjoy fab work. When I prepped the Bumblebee for paint in 2000, the owner of the PPG Store gave me a lot of advice. We talked in between customers for a few hours.
I have followed his advice 100% on my trucks, and feel I get nice user paint jobs. I would never make the grade in a Show N Shine crowd LOL. However, body/paint work is all part of the rebuild/restoration, so we all do our best. Its nice to be able to say; "I have done everything myself in my own shop"
