Thanks for all the suggestions! I got it worked out. I used a self energizing starter (no solenoid). I had to grind in a channel for the fly wheel, but it seemed to work. With the amount of clearance I have with the springs, the oil pan shouldn’t touch on a full compression (that was part of my concern with the engine centering) I got everything bolted back together and got it started. Now I just have to build the clutch setup, figure out where to mount the battery, and do some permanent wiring. Then slap the body back together and go for a test drive to the local steak house.
