price of tires increasing?

can anyone back up the story i heard about the increase in price tires are about to take due to rise in tariff prices of about 30%? heard this from a friend and didn't know how much truth there is to the news. if they are heading up, i can still get power king tires to fit the pws if anyone is interested. found a local dealer.
