i see could were making adjustments > as the fact you are using something other than engineered components pump ie pump volume expressed as gpm (gallons per minute) and psi so that leaves the steering box at the mercy of the pump and its relief valves ! In the box it self regaurdless of manufacture are set standards for response time ,relief , return ,and by pass , all circuits that have a effect on the box and handling of the steering > the only time adjustment should be neccasarry (sp) if the wheels fail to return to dead ahead after adjustments are made to the box ie a pro short of that this is steering > my self i would opt for a stabilizer system that you use for incase of flat tire a safty device that keeps the wheels straight and helps return the wheels 100 % of the time > it has springs which go on tire rods and pull equaly on the front wheels > this unit works great in a emergency situations such as hitting a gravel shoulder.blow out , power steering failure and even should you drop a drag link ~ Copey
