If it came out of a M37 the transmission should bolt in if it has the same bolt pattern. Also the input bearing retainer should fit being out of an M37. This is assuming that the Canadians did not change the bolt patterns. The swap should be doable. This brings up an interesting question. The T18 and T19 are direct derivatives of the T98 I wonder if they can be made to fit.

You should be able to to to a clutch rebuilder or a good auto parts store and find the 10" clutch disk that you need. You might have to search a little to find it.

On the US M37s they kept the old style bolt pattern on the bell housing. I assume this was done to match the WC trucks that they still used. By doing this they could take any transmission and put it into any truck. They did not have to stock multiple transmissions with different bolt patterns.

I installed a M37 NP420 transmission into my 51ffPW. It had a "afta" transmission to start with. Actually I bought a ffPW transmission and decided that I did not want to pull the engine to replace the bell housing to match the NP420. So I bought an empty NP420 transmission case from DC and put the internals from the ffPW NP420 into it. The only modification was that I had to remove some metal from the input bearing retainer to match the bell housing. The M37 retainer was a direct fit but I only had the one from the ffPW NP420. It too 10 minutes for a friend to do it in his lathe.
