If I turned the shifer fork bracket over, the pivot hole would be clear out of alignment then.
The fork has no casting # on it. So, is it possible it is a repro?
I just think there was a design change as years progressed to prevent fork breakage, either in the fork or the bracket or both. My winch is an early one.
Anyone chime in on this?
