I got bored waiting for the clutch disc to potentially release itself from the flywheel by keeping the clutch pedal down for weeks. So I took off the covering pan and with the clutch depressed put a putty knife between the disc and flywheel. Could feel 4-5 "sticky" areas, which broke free pretty easily. Was able to drive the ole girl again!

Thanks for the forum's help. Stuff you don't find in books.
