Change from 6 volt to 12 volt

Last forum the question was brought up as to when the trucks changed from 6 volt positive ground to 12 volt negative ground.

I knew I had that info somewhere and found it today.

The change occurred on the C-3 Power Wagon starting with serial number 83948762. Of course there has to be exceptions to the rules, right?

The following two PWs were built as six volt trucks.

83948771 and 83948776
